At Riva Primary School, we value strong, respectful and purposeful partnerships between home and school. When families and teachers work together, students benefit. Parent and teacher interviews are an important part of this partnership. They provide a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress, discuss learning and achievement, and work together to plan the next steps for your child.
On Wednesday, 25th March, the school will be closed to enable parent and teacher interviews to take place.
Students do not attend school on this day, except if they are accompanying parents to pre-booked interviews. Please make arrangements for your child’s care on this day through family or Out of School Hours Care.
Students are welcome to attend interviews with their parents and teachers.
Interviews are available with:
Classroom teachers
Specialist teachers
RAP Program teachers
Teachers have made themselves available throughout the school day, as well as for one hour outside of school time. This may be before or after school, or 30 minutes either side.

This will help you determine which teachers work with your child to assist in booking interviews.
Each interview time slot is 12 minutes.
If you need to arrange more than one interview, we recommend that you do not book appointments back to back. Allowing time between interviews will help you move between classrooms and make the most of your time with each teacher.
Bookings will open at 7:00am on Tuesday, 3rd March and close at 3:00pm on Wednesday, 18th March.

Select appointment times that suit your family. Please allow time between appointments to move between classrooms.
You can complete bookings for all children in your family within the one form.
Once you click finish, your bookings will be emailed to you immediately. If you do not receive your email, please check your junk mail or return to the website and check that your email address has been entered correctly.
Please do not delete your confirmation email, as you may need to refer to it later.
We also recommend adding your appointments to your calendar, as reminders will not be sent home.
All bookings must be finalised by Wednesday, 18th March 2026 at 3:00pm.
If you need to view, cancel, change or print your bookings, you can:
Click the link in your confirmation email, or
Return to the website and enter the event code and the email address you used when making your bookings.
If there are no bookings left, or you are unable to attend the available times, parent interviews can be requested at any time throughout the year. Please contact the school at riva.ps@education.wa.edu.au with your request and a few proposed times.
