Parent and Teacher Interviews – Wednesday 25^th March 2026

 

At Riva Primary School, we value strong, respectful and purposeful partnerships between home and school. When families and teachers work together, students benefit. Parent and teacher interviews are an important part of this partnership. They provide a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress, discuss learning and achievement, and work together to plan the next steps for your child.

 

We look forward to welcoming families to our Parent and Teacher Interviews on Wednesday, 25th March and continuing to work together to support each student’s learning, wellbeing and success.

 

Interview Day and School Closure

 

On Wednesday, 25th March, the school is closed for normal classes to allow Parent and Teacher Interviews to take place.

 

Students do not attend school on this day, unless they are accompanying their parents to a pre-booked interview.

Please ensure arrangements have been made for your child’s care if they are not attending an interview.

Students are welcome to attend interviews with their parents.

 

Appointments

Each interview is 12 minutes in duration.

To make the most of your time on the day:

• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled interview time.
• Interviews must run strictly to schedule so that all families receive their allocated time.
• If you have multiple interviews booked, please allow time between appointments to move between classrooms.

 

Your confirmation email from the booking system contains your interview schedule, and it may be helpful to bring this with you.

Arriving at School

To assist with access and movement around the school, three entry gates will be open on the day:

• Between Administration and Block 1 (Early Childhood)
• Between Early Childhood and The Hub
• Between The Hub and Block 2 (Green Block)

Please follow signage and staff directions when arriving.

 

During Your Visit

To ensure interviews run smoothly for all families:

• Students are welcome to attend interviews with their parents.
• If you arrive early, please wait outside the classroom until the previous interview has finished.
• Please help maintain a quiet and respectful environment near classrooms so interviews can proceed without interruption.

 

Parking and Safety

• Please allow extra time for parking, as the school may be busier than usual.
• All school carparks are one-way traffic only. Please follow arrows and ground markings.
• Additional parking is available at Novelli Pavilion.
• Please take care when moving through carparks and walkways.
