Nicholson Network

Riva Primary School is a proud member of the Nicholson Network, an alliance of twenty high-performing public schools serving diverse and rapidly growing communities.

Together, schools within the Nicholson Network educate approximately 15,000 students and are supported by a dedicated team of around 1,800 staff. Through this partnership, our schools collaborate to align professional learning, share expertise, and coordinate resources in ways that maximise opportunities and outcomes for students.

The Nicholson Network comprises:

The vision of the Nicholson Network is to achieve excellence in leadership, pedagogy, and connected practice across our schools. In essence, it is schools working together to maximise the impact of teaching and learning for every student, in every classroom.

At Riva Primary School, our students benefit from the professional collaboration, shared expertise, and capacity building that occurs across the Network. This strengthens the quality of teaching and leadership in our school and creates additional opportunities for students through Network initiatives and enrichment programs in areas such as the arts, health and physical education.

The Network also supports strong and connected pathways for students, ensuring consistent practices and smooth transitions between our primary schools and partner secondary schools.
