Our Year 6 Camp will be held at Point Peron Camp School from Monday 26 October to Thursday 29 October 2026.

Payment or payment arrangements for the Camp will be accepted up until Friday 23rd October, 2026.

Emergency and Communication Details

GENERAL

We will post a daily update and recap each day on the Riva Primary School Facebook page.

NON-URGENT ENQUIRIES

Call the school on 9562 8600. We will get the message to the Camp the same day. A staff member will also travel from the school to the camp each day.

EMERGENCY ENQUIRIES

Call Mrs Kathleen Davies, Teacher in Charge on the camp (refer to number provided by the school).

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE

First Aid / minor issue – dealt with by Camp Supervisory Staff. Parents informed via phone call.
Moderate issue – Parents contacted. Child transported to emergency care by Riva staff member, or parents to collect.
Significant issue – Ambulance called. Parents contacted.

HOMESICK

Comfort and Console – child supported by identified staff, reassured, and affirmed.
Connect – Parents contacted to speak with child and reassure.
Collect – Parents given option to collect child from Camp.
